Audition?

The Obama campaign has released a new ad attacking John McCain and oil companies, one that's pretty easy to dismantle with facts.

One such dismantling took place on CNN in an interview Mitt Romney had with Kiran Chetry, who made little effort to disguise her bias and/or her ignorance. First, the Prophet's latest ad:

 

 

Next, Romney's counterattack:

 

The VP candidate traditionally has the role of "attack dog" in a campaign, and Romney happens to be one of the finalists under consideration at McCain HQ. I'd say this was a pretty strong audition, and I'd love to see Romney take on whomever The One chooses as his running mate. If these two can overcome the rancor that grew between them during the primaries, they'd make a great team.
