The past endorsing the present

Traitor Hanoi Jane Actress Jane Fonda announced her endorsement of Barack Obama today. Lovely. The defeatist Left of yesterday continues to pass the torch to the defeatist Left of today.

Let's see: his minister and admitted spiritual mentor of over 20 years is an anti-Semitic, White-bashing, America-damning racist; among his pals are unrepentant members of the terrorist Weather Underground; he's talked out of both sides of his mouth (once to Ohio, once to Canada) about NAFTA. Now we see he's uniting the old McGovernite coalition behind him.

Obama claims to be a bridge-builder. The only bridges he's building are between the Left and the Far Left.

UPDATE: How did I miss this? Jimmy Carter, America's worst ex-president, also endorsed Obama. The hits just keep rolling.
