Jay Rockefeller, idiot or ass?

Let's see, calling a genuine war-hero an uncaring killer? Check. Slagging Navy and Air Force fighter pilots past and present? Check. A United States Senator repeating enemy propaganda lines? Check. Showing utter ignorance of military operations? Check. Lame apology issued after the comment comes back to bite him? Check.

Of course, this fits with what passes for Rockefeller's "character." Believe me. He has a history of saying stupid, ignorant things.

I vote "both."
