No to Christmas music, yes to Sharia in Minnesota

Scott at Power Line links to a column at the Minneapolis Star-Tribune that points out the obvious* inconsistency in a college's radical enforcement of the separation of church and state -- except when the religion is Islam. At the end, he wonders what it is that has made Minnesota a seeming front line for Islamist imperialism:

Why is it that Minneapolis, of all places in the United States, faces the eruption of controversies over Sharia law? From the Somali taxi drivers who refuse to transport passengers carrying alcohol to the Target cashiers who refuse to ring up pork products and the flying imams testing airport security, something's happening here. I think Kathy may be homing in on what it is.

*(To anyone but the school's administrators, that is.)
