Iran to free hostages

...As a gift from Gangster-in-Chief President Ahmadinejad. One wonders what deals were cut in the background and if Britain had to humiliate itself even further to secure their release.

It's interesting to note that, at the SkyNews site, an informal poll shows responses to the question "Should we say sorry to get our sailors back ?" were running 3-1 against. Perhaps the British public has more spine than their leaders? Then again, it let me vote, so the results are hardly indicative.

LINKS: Captain Ed weighs in, and Michelle Malkin quotes the acid Roger Kimball. Like me (and, I'm sure, many others), Allah thinks there was a deal. Meanwhile, Austin Bay thinks it was a way for the mullahs to recover a bit from their embarrassment over the Asgari defection and the capture of Iranian operatives in Iraq.
