A "limousine liberal" bares his soul
Wow. Stop the contest. We have a winner of the General Russell Honore Commemorative Stuck On Stupid award! Yesterday, at a rally for California Democratic sacrificial lamb candidate for governor Phil Angelides, John Kerry revealed what he truly thinks about our military: they're a bunch of knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers:
“You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”
And there you have it, naked as a jaybird, the real attitude of the elitist Left toward the volunteers who are ready to fight and die so these people can safely drive their SUVs to the next wine-and-cheese fund-raiser or Move-on.org "meet up." Let's forget the fact that many in our officer corps hold graduate degrees or that our military is better educated than the general public overall. Ignore that. What's truly amazing is that someone holding this attitude thinks he's worthy to be President of the United States, one of whose duties is to be Commander in Chief of those same uneducated, lazy armed forces.
But don't you dare question his patriotism.
If this statement isn't appearing in Republican commercials in the next 24 hours, I'm a moonbat.
