It's been known for a long time that Hizbullah was active in Latin America, largely in the "Triple Frontier" area, a nearly lawless zone where Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina meet. They've acted as Iran's cat's-paw in terrorist attacks against Jews in Argentina. Indeed, funded, created, and armed by Tehran, Hizbullah is little more than an arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

On the other side of this equation is Hugo Chavez, the anti-Semite caudillo of Venezuela, terrorism enabler, would-be heir to Castro as leader of Latin American revolution, and self-proclaimed foe of the United States. Chavez in recent years has grown increasingly chummy with Iran, Hizbullah's patron and America's enemy.

So it should be no surprise that this marriage-made-in-Hell has produced a child: the expansion of Hizbullah into Venezuela. Want to see for yourself?
